- Set your serial port speed to 19200 bps or higher. If you conenct to
- another modem, and "V.32 terbo" is the fastest mutually compatible
- protocol, then you will connect in that mode.

- "V.32 terbo" is a proprietary protocol (to AT&T Paradyne) and so you will
- only connect in that mode to modems made by them, or using their data
- pump.
